Dan Cohen

Dan CohenDan Cohen is the Founder and Co-Director of the Great Green March. Dan has been molded by his early experience on The Great Peace March for Global Nuclear Disarmament that walked across the country in 1986 and the Soviet/American Peace March that walked from Leningrad to Moscow in 1987. He has extensive experience directing the production of large entertainment events. Dan Cohen created the vision for this March fueled by his passion to build community and bring immediate change in sustainability to a wide audience.

Jackie Jaffe

Jackie JaffeJackie Jaffe grew up in NYC and is the Principal at the Portland Village School. She has been a SUN program coordinator, taught in private, public, and charter elementary schools. She holds a Masters in Education from University of Massachusetts in Amherst, and a BA in Fine Arts (Photography) from the University of Colorado in Boulder.

Orion Nessly

Orion is active in the Portland area, providing pro bono work for various nonprofits as well as offering independent business consulting. As a nature lover and outdoorsman, he draws upon his various skills, interests and degrees to work for conservation and positive environmental change. Orion holds a B.A. in Anthropology from Penn State University and a J.D. and Certificate in Environmental and Natural Resources Law from Lewis and Clark Law School.

Jim Prelack

Jim has worked in high-tech marketing his entire career, including more than a decade at Intel where he currently manages the international marketing of software development tools products.  Jim has held product marketing and technology marketing positions at other companies including NEC Technologies’ Notebook PC division and Lotus Development’s 1-2-3 spreadsheet division.  Jim was co-founder and President of a nonprofit technology organization that first introduced in the USA the memory-card products used in digital cameras and notebook PCs.  Jim holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Boston College, plus additional graduate work in Computer Information Systems, and a Bachelors degree from the University of Massachusetts.

Maegan Hollister

An Oregon native, Maegan Hollister grew up in the country outside of Roseburg. She earned a B.A. in International Studies from the University of Oregon with a concentration in intercultural communications. She has served as an associate director for a local credit union; an outreach coordinator in rural Mexico, and a regional project manager for non-profits throughout California’s Central Valley. Maegan has returned to her Northwest roots and is serving a year in Americorps as Program Manager for the Oregon Wave Energy Trust while pursuing a Masters in Sustainable Business Management. She enjoys traveling on a shoestring, being outdoors, and immersing herself in different cultures. Maegan’s passion is to integrate economic, environmental and cultural sustainability into the travel industries domestically and abroad.

Gregory Kastigar

Greg a Project Management professional with over 15 years of entertainment experience. Greg worked in development at Ron Howard’s Imagine Entertainment, Oliver Stone’s Ixtlan Films, Sony Pictures Animation, and DreamWorks Animation before relocating to Portland to work in technology at animation company LAIKA, Inc. He is currently a Project Coordinator for Nike and a Reader for Imagine Entertainment. He lives in Oregon City with his wife and two kids.
