Orion Nessly

Orion is active in the Portland area, providing pro bono work for various nonprofits as well as offering independent business consulting. As a nature lover and outdoorsman, he draws upon his various skills, interests and degrees to work for conservation and positive environmental change. Orion holds a B.A. in Anthropology from Penn State University and a J.D. and Certificate in Environmental and Natural Resources Law from Lewis and Clark Law School. He served as a Volunteer Law Clerk with Friends of the Columbia Gorge in 2005, 2006, and 2009. Orion has been licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania since 2009 and was admitted to the Oregon State Bar this April. He recently became a Stream Steward with Clark Public Utilities’ Stream Team in Washington State and he is eager to start working as a Site Steward with the Columbia Land Trust.
